Combustion Control for Glass Melting Furnaces

Three chemical engineers, who have known each other since college, have founded STG Cottbus in early 1990 in Cottbus, Germany.

By now this innovative and technology-oriented engineering company has more than 50 employees who have already realized solutions for energy savings, NOx reduction, increased melting rates, optimized process control for industrial furnaces in more than 35 countries throughout the world. Traditionally STG finds its customers mainly in the glass industry. However, we also provide solutions for ceramic, chemical and metallurgic production.

After 22 years of successful development, 2012 activation of new STG Combustion Control GmbH & Co KG is the way now, to make our most experienced engineers shareholders - in order to make the company fit for the future.

Since opening of engineering and production facilities “Great Mill Madlow” at in 2003 STG has available extended opportunities to serve our customers: Sensor production line, burner and software development and a test area for advanced process control and training: 3000 m² production and office area for highly efficient engineering and manufacturing in an impressive historical building complex, surrounded by beautiful nature which we just help to protect by our work.
