STG Compressed Air Baffles for control of combustion air
If you operate a cross fired furnace controlling the optimum ratio of combustion air for the furnace “in average” it is not enough – you must be able to do it individually port by port. Even if the separating walls between the regenerator chambers are missing, STG’s Air Curtain system, using compressed air baffles, is able to provide individual control to optimize the combustion air distribution. By creating an adjustable barrier of compressed air, parts of the preheated air from the port having excess air will be redirected to the neighbouring ports.
This is recommended for use with Lambda control if no separating walls are available.
